Mrs. Jacqueline Banning
Hello 4th Grade! My name is Jacqueline Banning and I’m excited to be starting my 7th year of teaching, with my 4th year here at Harvey. Before joining this wonderful school, I taught at Kings Highway Elementary in Clearwater, Florida, where I spent my first three years teaching 5th grade. I have a passion for upper elementary grades, especially in Math and Science. Originally from Palm Harbor, Florida, I graduated from St. Petersburg College as part of the Elite Educator Program. My husband and I got married in February 2022, and we moved to the area in May of the same year. We’re blessed a sweet little boy named Judah!

Mission
I strive to create a learning environment that feels like family. It is my mission to make every student feel safe and loved in my classroom so that they can learn effectively. My students take pride in the fact that our classroom is a safe space where we value everyone’s opportunity to grow. We encourage taking risks and stepping outside of our comfort zones through classroom lessons and activities.
Vision
My mission is to empower every child to discover their unique purpose through engaging and transformative educational experiences. I believe that education is the key to unlocking potential, fostering curiosity, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning. Together, we can create a brighter future for these children."
